Antibiotic resistance is one of the most pressing public health concerns facing us. Antibiotics, the miracle drugs, that have saved humanity from multiple infections are now becoming ineffective. There are many ways we can fight this problem. Start with some of the easy steps: 1. Use antibiotics only when prescribed by doctors. These drugs kill bacteria. Your doctor is the best person to know if you are suffering from or at a risk from bacterial infection.2. Finish the antibiotic course as prescribed by your doctor, even if you might feel better earlier than that. Not finishing your course actually helps the bacteria to become more resistant against the antibiotics.3. Avoid infections by maintaining hygiene. Let's all become Superheroes against Superbugs.
